  • As a Group Account Director at Jellyfish, you will be the pivotal strategic leader responsible for nurturing and expanding key client relationships, ensuring unparalleled client satisfaction, and driving significant profitable growth. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of both brand and performance marketing, capable of acting as a trusted advisor to a major client.
  • You will orchestrate and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team to deliver exceptional content and innovative marketing solutions that align precisely with the client's overarching business objectives. Your strategic vision will be instrumental in anticipating challenges, proactively developing robust solutions, and ensuring Jellyfish consistently exceeds client expectations.
  • A core responsibility involves developing and executing comprehensive growth plans for your assigned clients. You will meticulously track progress against set targets throughout the year, identifying opportunities for expansion and deeper integration of Jellyfish's services.
  • You are expected to be a thought leader, representing Jellyfish in marketing endeavors and maintaining a keen awareness of emerging industry trends. This includes building an external voice and establishing yourself as a go-to expert in the digital marketing landscape.
  • A significant aspect of the role involves contributing to new business development. You will partner closely with the Growth team, taking the lead in pitches, constructing compelling commercial proposals, assembling dedicated teams, and driving the overall narrative, deliverables, and timelines.
  • You will provide crucial strategic guidance and support to other Account Directors and Client Management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across the board.
  • Regular client engagement is paramount. This includes conducting insightful Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), administering client relationship surveys, meticulously documenting key meeting notes, and formulating strategic action plans based on these findings. Continuous optimization of client relationships and operational workflows is expected.
  • Financial stewardship is a key component of this role. You will be responsible for the accuracy of client forecast submissions and overseeing account financial operations, including billing, in close collaboration with the internal finance team.
  • Your expertise in paid media will be leveraged to provide strategic oversight, ensuring alignment between paid media strategies and creative, content, and earned media efforts to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen by building effective staffing plans, defining service level agreements (SLAs), managing project scope, and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • The ability to navigate and excel across multiple sectors and capabilities is essential, with a preference for candidates who have experience working in cross-market environments or managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Your experience in new business acquisition will be vital, including owning the pitch narrative and managing the end-to-end new business process.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required to consistently deliver clear, persuasive, and actionable recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
  • You will strategically utilize data and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, to analyze performance data, derive actionable insights, and guide decision-making processes that optimize client outcomes and maximize return on investment.
  • Proactive strategic thinking is key to anticipating client needs, identifying emerging opportunities, and driving tangible results.
