- • As a Growth Analytics Engineer at Viktor, you will be responsible for owning the truth by writing SQL, building pipelines, and shipping dashboards that everyone else lives in.
- • You will be the first Growth Analytics Engineer at Viktor, with no team to inherit and no data lead above you.
- • You will build the foundation of the warehouse, pipelines, dashboards, and alerts, and report directly to the co-founders.
- • You will own the ClickHouse warehouse end-to-end, including schema, ingestion, backfills, and performance.
- • You will build and maintain pipelines for production Postgres, Stripe, Slack, and ad platforms, and write them in a way that they can be owned and maintained.
- • You will run the BI layer, including Hex dashboards for growth, finance, support, and product, and build, maintain, and prune them.
- • You will answer questions that move the business, including retention cohorts, credit and unit economics, channel attribution, churn, and pricing impact.
- • You will stand up monitoring and alerting, so that the team hears about a metric moving the wrong way from your alerts, not from a customer.
- • You will work with the co-founders and leaders across the company to scope, prioritize, ship fast, and push back when the question isn't the right one.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- • Experience with Python for ETL and orchestration, including dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or similar.
- • Familiarity with columnar warehouses, including ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift.
- • Experience building BI layers from scratch, including Hex, Metabase, and Looker.
- • A product mindset, with a proactive and action-oriented approach.
- • A founder mentality, with the ability to build a function from scratch and own the outcome.
