📋 Description

• • Shape the future of Latin America’s largest real-estate ecosystem as a Senior Software Engineer at Grupo QuintoAndar. In this remote-first role you will architect, build and scale the core platforms that power millions of property listings, rental transactions and homeowner services across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Portugal.
• • Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact products—from ideation and technical design to deployment and post-launch optimization. You will lead squads of 4-8 engineers, pair with product managers, designers and data scientists, and influence technical decisions that affect tens of thousands of daily active users.
• • Drive architectural evolution of our micro-service landscape (Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python, Go) running on AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka. You will refactor legacy monoliths into resilient, observable services, introduce new data pipelines and champion SLO-driven reliability across 99.9 % uptime targets.
• • Mentor and level-up engineers through code reviews, architecture guilds and weekly tech talks. Your leadership will directly shape our engineering culture of psychological safety, continuous learning and inclusive collaboration—especially important in a women-only hiring initiative designed to rebalance gender representation in senior technical roles.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch green-field initiatives such as AI-driven property valuation engines, digital mortgage origination flows and IoT-enabled smart-home integrations. You will translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions that reduce friction for landlords, tenants and brokers alike.
• • Establish and monitor key performance indicators—latency, throughput, conversion rates, NPS—and use data to prioritize technical debt versus feature work. You will run A/B experiments, leverage feature flags and employ canary releases to ship safely at high velocity (10+ production deploys per day).
• • Contribute to open-source projects and internal libraries that accelerate development across all QuintoAndar brands. Expect to publish blog posts, speak at meetups and represent the company in international conferences, amplifying our reputation as a technology powerhouse in proptech.
• • Ensure security and privacy by design: implement OAuth2 / OIDC flows, encrypt PII at rest and in transit, conduct threat-modeling sessions and stay ahead of OWASP Top 10 risks. You will partner with our InfoSec team to achieve SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance milestones.
• • Foster a remote-first culture across time zones (BRT, CET, GMT-6). You will facilitate asynchronous communication via Notion, Slack and Loom, run inclusive retrospectives and champion documentation that allows any engineer to onboard and contribute within days, not weeks.
• • Participate in strategic roadmap planning with C-level executives. Your voice will influence multi-million-dollar investment decisions on cloud spend, engineering hiring and international expansion, ensuring technology remains the competitive moat that keeps QuintoAndar years ahead of regional incumbents.
