📋 Description

  • • OpenAI is seeking a dynamic and strategic GTM Enablement Manager to spearhead the activation of critical Go-To-Market (GTM) priorities across our global sales and customer-facing teams. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who excels at translating high-level company and GTM strategies into clear, actionable, and repeatable execution plans for our field teams. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing programs that foster the adoption of new selling methodologies, streamline the operationalization of product launches, and ultimately drive measurable improvements in pipeline generation and customer outcomes.
  • • The GTM Enablement team at OpenAI serves as the crucial bridge between our groundbreaking product innovations and tangible, real-world customer impact. We are dedicated to equipping our customer-facing professionals with the essential knowledge, cutting-edge tools, and robust frameworks they need to achieve success in their interactions with customers. Our work is at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that our field teams understand what is most important, how to effectively act upon it, and how to consistently deliver significant value to both our customers and the business.
  • • In this role, you will be responsible for the global rollout of key GTM initiatives, meticulously building scalable programs that can be effectively adapted by regional teams to suit local market nuances and specific customer contexts. A core part of your mandate will be to define and develop standardized operating playbooks for a variety of GTM initiative types, including product launches, specialized vertical programs, and significant operational adjustments. You will establish scalable rhythms and processes for how enablement plans are communicated and executed across different regions and markets, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • • You will take full ownership of GTM enablement programs from inception to completion. This includes defining comprehensive program plans, establishing operating cadences, aligning Sales and other cross-functional stakeholders, and meticulously managing the rollout process to ensure that initiatives are clearly understood and effectively implemented by the field. Your ability to orchestrate complex, cross-functional teams—spanning Sales, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations (RevOps), Marketing, and Product—will be critical for aligning priorities, synchronizing timelines, and ensuring seamless execution of GTM initiatives.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves the creation and deployment of high-quality, field-ready content and AI-native workflows. This includes developing comprehensive field content packs, detailed playbooks, centralized messaging hubs, engaging e-learning pathways, and structured training program materials designed to empower teams and enhance their execution capabilities. You will be at the forefront of leveraging AI to create more efficient and effective enablement experiences.
  • • Crucially, you will ensure that all GTM initiatives translate into tangible, measurable outcomes. This involves diligently tracking the adoption of new selling motions, monitoring pipeline generation, and assessing overall GTM performance. You will use field feedback and performance data to continuously iterate and improve enablement programs, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a passion for transforming complex strategies into clear, repeatable programs that drive tangible execution. You should have a proven track record of building and scaling GTM programs within high-growth technology companies. Building trust rapidly with senior GTM leaders and operating credibly in executive forums are essential skills. You must be a clear and effective communicator, adept at keeping complex workstreams aligned, stakeholders informed, and programs progressing smoothly. Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to defining paths forward in unclear situations are highly valued. A systems-thinking mindset, focusing on operating rhythms rather than isolated solutions, is key. You should thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities can evolve quickly and be energized by 0→1 work—defining new programs, establishing their foundational structure, and scaling successful initiatives. An obsession with pushing the frontier of enablement, particularly through building AI-native experiences that accelerate learning and enhance execution, will set you apart.
  • • This role is based in New York City, and relocation assistance is available for new employees. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all perspectives are valued.
