  • • Worldly is seeking a highly strategic and experienced leader to step into the pivotal role of Head of Accounts, tasked with spearheading the growth and scaling of our global accounts function during a significant period of company expansion.
  • • This leadership position is instrumental in defining and executing the overarching account strategy, ensuring peak team performance, and establishing the operational rigor necessary to drive substantial customer expansion, foster deep product adoption, and maximize long-term value creation across Worldly’s diverse customer base.
  • • Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the Head of Accounts will be responsible for managing and developing a growing team of dedicated Account Leaders.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with cross-functional leaders in Growth, Customer Success, Product, and Partnerships to ensure a unified, high-impact approach to account management.
  • • This individual will also play a crucial role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, holding a seat on the esteemed Worldly Leadership Council.
  • • This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned accounts leader to build upon an existing strong foundation and transform it into a world-class, scalable function.
  • • Simultaneously, you will be instrumental in empowering our customers to navigate and overcome some of the most complex challenges in supply chain risk management, ethical sourcing, and impactful sustainability initiatives.
  • • Strategy & Leadership:
  • • Take full ownership of the global accounts strategy, driving its evolution with a sharp focus on expanding existing customer relationships, facilitating product upgrades, and ensuring sustained, long-term customer adoption of Worldly’s platform.
  • • Define, implement, and meticulously track clear success metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and robust operating rhythms for the entire accounts function, ensuring complete alignment with overarching company-level objectives and growth targets.
  • • Champion and instill consistency, operational rigor, and a culture of accountability across all account management practices, while maintaining the agility to adapt to unique customer needs and evolving market dynamics.
  • • Forge strong partnerships with senior leadership across Growth, Customer Success, Product, and Partnerships, ensuring seamless alignment between account strategy and broader business priorities, fostering a truly integrated go-to-market motion.
  • • Act as an executive-level advisor, providing critical insights and strategic perspectives on account health, potential risks, and emerging opportunities across the entire customer portfolio.
  • • Team Management and Development:
  • • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of approximately 8 account professionals, encompassing both direct and indirect reports, fostering an environment of growth and excellence.
  • • Establish crystal-clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for every member of the accounts team, ensuring clarity and focus.
  • • Provide dedicated coaching and mentorship to account leaders, empowering them to deepen strategic customer relationships, elevate their strategic thinking, and consistently drive measurable, impactful outcomes for our clients.
  • • Cultivate a high-trust, high-performance culture that is deeply rooted in principles of ownership, empathy, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • • Execution and Operational Excellence:
  • • Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing account management practice, identifying its core strengths, potential weaknesses, and critical areas for enhancement.
  • • Operationalize the account management motion by developing a profound understanding of Worldly’s customer base, their diverse use cases, and the significant growth opportunities present within each segment.
  • • Institute and champion best practices across all facets of account management, including strategic account planning, accurate forecasting, proactive customer engagement, and effective expansion strategies.
  • • Actively engage with the team, "riding shotgun" as needed, to directly interact with customers, model exemplary account management techniques, and maintain a close connection to the day-to-day execution.
  • • Ensure the accounts function operates with a data-driven approach, is inherently scalable to support future growth, and is strategically positioned to propel Worldly through its next critical phase of expansion.
