📋 Description

• • Own the AI orchestration layer that turns Catena’s banking core into a living, breathing agentic economy. You’ll design and maintain the APIs, MCP servers, and LangGraph pipelines that let AI agents open accounts, move stable-coin, and prove their identity without ever touching a web form.
• • Build bullet-proof eval frameworks that demonstrate—quantitatively—that our agents behave correctly when real money is on the line. You’ll define success metrics, adversarial test suites, and red-team scenarios that satisfy both engineers and bank regulators.
• • Stay on the bleeding edge of emerging agent protocols (A2A, x402, MCP, LangGraph) and decide which ones Catena should adopt, fork, or ignore. Your research memos and POCs will shape the company’s technical roadmap and external standards proposals.
• • Ship production-grade Python and TypeScript services on AWS and Cloudflare that scale from a handful of beta agents to millions of concurrent agent sessions. You’ll own the CI/CD, infra-as-code, and cost-optimization decisions that keep the lights on.
• • Integrate AI capabilities deeply with Product Development’s roadmap: from agent-driven onboarding flows to real-time risk scoring. You’ll write the glue code, review PRs, and occasionally jump into the banking-core repo to unblock a critical integration.
• • Create internal AI tools that make Catena itself run faster and smarter—think LLM-powered compliance checkers, synthetic data generators for fraud models, and Slack bots that summarize 200-page regulatory PDFs in 30 seconds.
• • Hire, mentor, and retain a world-class team of AI engineers and data scientists. You’ll run architecture reviews, 1:1s, and career-growth plans while still spending at least 20 % of your time hands-on in the codebase.
• • Champion a security-first culture: threat-model prompt-injection attacks, design audit trails for every agent decision, and evangelize best practices so that “move fast” never means “break trust.”
• • Translate regulatory requirements into technical constraints. When a new rule drops, you’ll figure out how to encode it into evals, model cards, and automated tests without slowing product velocity.
• • Present technical strategy to investors, regulators, and partners. Your white-board sessions and demo videos will convince skeptical stakeholders that Catena’s AI agents are not just cool—they’re safe, compliant, and inevitable.
