Our diverse portfolio of Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) subscription products is at various stages of growth, and we are seeking a visionary Head of Growth to spearhead our experimentation and product growth initiatives across this entire spectrum.
- • As the Head of Growth, your primary mission is to architect, implement, and scale a world-class growth system. This system will be the engine driving acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization for all Ruby Labs products. You will achieve this through a rigorous, data-driven approach centered on structured experimentation and strategic leadership. While individual products may already demonstrate promising traction, your role is pivotal in transforming this potential into a sustainable, scalable, and formidable competitive advantage for the company.
- • You will be instrumental in building and leading a high-performing growth organization. This team will comprise top-tier talent specializing in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), broader growth strategies, lifecycle marketing, and user research. Operating within a fast-paced, 100% remote environment, you will foster a culture of high talent density and strong ownership. As the leader, you will define the standards, develop scalable processes, and ensure seamless alignment across all growth-related functions, especially during critical scaling phases.
- • Key responsibilities include leading experimentation and product growth initiatives across the entire Ruby Labs portfolio. This involves designing, managing, and scaling high-impact testing and optimization programs that directly contribute to business objectives. You will be responsible for defining and institutionalizing a comprehensive, company-wide experimentation framework. This framework will encompass every stage of the experimentation lifecycle, from hypothesis generation and prioritization to meticulous test design, rigorous validation, and effective knowledge management.
- • Furthermore, you will establish structured growth roadmaps that are intrinsically aligned with overarching company objectives, the specific lifecycle stages of our products, and emerging market opportunities. Your oversight will extend to CRO, growth, lifecycle, and research functions, ensuring a consistent tempo of testing and demonstrably measurable impact across all areas.
- • A critical aspect of this role is ensuring the highest levels of statistical rigor, data integrity, and methodological excellence in all experiments conducted. You will maintain exceptionally high quality standards for every test, paying close attention to user experience (UX), visual design, messaging clarity, and unwavering brand consistency. Your strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills will be essential for diagnosing performance issues and devising effective, data-informed growth solutions.
- • You will translate complex data insights, qualitative user research findings, and behavioral analytics into well-designed, high-quality experimentation initiatives. Continuous analysis of key growth and unit economics metrics, including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), retention curves, and conversion rates, will be a core part of your responsibilities.
- • Establishing best practices for experiment documentation, learning management, and the systematic sharing of institutional knowledge will be crucial for long-term success. You will foster a vibrant culture of structured experimentation, craftsmanship, and high performance throughout all growth teams. Finally, you will be responsible for presenting key insights, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team, influencing strategic direction.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in growth, CRO, product growth, or performance strategy, with a proven track record in scaling digital subscription or consumer products.
- • Advanced expertise in experimentation and analytics platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
- • Strong understanding of user behavior, conversion funnels, and monetization mechanics within D2C subscription models.
- • Demonstrated ability to maintain high testing standards at scale, balancing speed with quality, and experience leading high-performance, cross-functional teams.
- • Excellent written and spoken English, coupled with a high standards, strong ownership mindset, and structured thinking.
