📋 Description

  • • Fluidstack is at the forefront of building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence, partnering with leading AI labs, governments, and enterprises such as Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, and Meta to deliver compute at unprecedented speeds. We are driven by a mission to accelerate the realization of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), fostering a highly motivated and committed team dedicated to delivering world-class infrastructure. Our ethos centers on treating customer outcomes as our own, taking immense pride in the systems we build and the trust we earn. If you are purpose-driven, obsessed with excellence, and ready to dedicate significant effort to accelerating the future of intelligence, we invite you to join us in shaping what comes next.
  • • As the Head of Data Center Operations, you will assume a pivotal leadership role, directing Fluidstack's global data center operations. This comprehensive responsibility encompasses the oversight of all critical data center infrastructure, IT equipment, and diverse assets across our worldwide facilities. Your mandate will be to lead and scale a substantial global organization, defining strategic direction, accelerating deployment timelines, and optimizing data center utilization while simultaneously maximizing performance and reliability. This role also involves managing data center expansions, migrations, and consolidations, overseeing critical maintenance activities, establishing robust operational processes, and ensuring that each facility and function adheres to company standards and industry best practices.
  • • A core aspect of this position is ensuring that our operational standards are the highest in the industry. You will be responsible for enforcing company change control policies, minimizing unexpected customer downtime, and overseeing all critical incidents, problems, and changes within the data hall. A key leadership responsibility will be to inspire a continuous drive for process improvement across all operational facets. Furthermore, you will be accountable for strict adherence to company security policies and procedures, as well as any other relevant policies and standards as directed.
  • • Your strategic focus will be on driving the strategic planning and prioritization for our data center operations teams. This includes cultivating a high-performing leadership team capable of translating strategic direction into actionable deliverables. You will be instrumental in creating and refining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and other critical metrics, encompassing operational efficiency, utilization, availability, and budget adherence, and establishing rigorous processes to drive continuous improvement in these areas.
  • • Collaboration will be key, coordinating closely with data center design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure engineering consistency and uphold the quality of our data center infrastructure. You will champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that scalability and standardization are embedded in operations across all global data centers. A critical component of your role will be establishing and maintaining robust business continuity plans, which includes the design and implementation of disaster drills, overseeing incident management, and ensuring timely Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any disruptions.
  • • You will also be responsible for establishing and meticulously tracking security and compliance measures to safeguard our frontline resources and maintain the integrity of our operations. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI infrastructure by leading a critical operational function within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Your impact will be directly felt in the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the compute resources powering the next generation of artificial intelligence.
