• • As the Head of Product Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of the DualEntry platform. This is a unique opportunity to lead the creation of intuitive, elegant UI/UX designs that will fundamentally redefine how finance and accounting teams operate. You will be instrumental in setting the design vision, scaling our design systems, and meticulously crafting user journeys from inception to completion. • • This is a high-impact, hands-on role offering complete ownership. We are looking for a leader who will champion excellence, consistently raise the bar for design quality, and drive innovation. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire design lifecycle of the DualEntry platform, spanning both web and mobile applications. You will be tasked with translating complex financial workflows into clean, user-friendly interfaces that simplify intricate processes.
• • A core part of your role will involve creating and evolving a robust, scalable component-based design system within Figma. This system will serve as the foundation for consistent and efficient design across the product. You will collaborate intimately with product managers and engineers, fostering a seamless partnership to ensure rapid feature delivery and continuous iteration based on user feedback and market demands.
• • To ensure our product truly meets user needs, you will actively conduct user research, gathering critical insights and applying them strategically to enhance usability and overall user satisfaction. Furthermore, you will contribute significantly to defining our nascent design culture, proactively identifying and implementing improvements to our product development speed and design processes.
• • This role demands a hardcore work ethic and a high degree of personal agency. You will be empowered to take initiative, make decisions, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight. We are seeking an individual with at least seven years of experience in designing complex Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products from end-to-end, with a minimum of two years in a senior or leadership capacity. Deep expertise in Figma and a proven track record of building and managing scalable design systems are essential. You must possess strong UX thinking, exceptional interaction design skills, and an unwavering attention to visual detail. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is expected, enabling you to effectively communicate with engineering teams and understand technical constraints. Crucially, you must be comfortable making fast, pragmatic decisions in a dynamic startup environment.
