- • As Head of Product Design at Heidi Health, you will own the design discipline across the product suite, setting the quality bar and being accountable for design excellence while still actively designing and raising the team’s craft by working in the file with them.
- • You will lead, hire, and develop product designers embedded across clinical pods, define how design works at Heidi through team architecture and ways of working, and evolve the design system as product infrastructure to ensure consistency without sacrificing craft.
- • You will partner with the Head of Brand to align product and brand expression, collaborate with PMs and engineering leads to translate complex clinical workflows into intuitive experiences, and hold design quality sign-off as the final filter before anything reaches clinicians.
- • Heidi Health is a fast-growing AI startup supporting over 2 million patient sessions weekly across 116 countries and 110 languages, with a mission to strengthen the human connection in healthcare by transforming clinical documentation and reducing clinician burden through its AI Care Partner.
- • In this role, you will learn to navigate the intersection of AI and clinical workflows, deepen your expertise in LLM-informed product design, and achieve impact by shaping a product used by hundreds of thousands of clinicians to restore joy and efficiency to healthcare work.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in product design with 3+ years leading design teams
- • Portfolio demonstrating craft in every frame
- • Experience building or evolving a design system used by a team of 5+
- • Fluency with core LLM concepts (prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation) and ability to translate them into reliable user-facing products
- • Proficiency building with AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) and evidence of work created with them
- • Strong data fluency to interpret engagement data and distinguish design problems from product problems
