As a rapidly growing creative entertainment company, we are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Security Engineering to architect and lead our comprehensive security strategy. This pivotal role will be instrumental in safeguarding our innovative AI music model, applications, cloud infrastructure, and internal systems, ensuring the integrity and security of our platform as we scale.
• • As the Head of Security Engineering, you will be responsible for defining, building, and leading a world-class security engineering organization. This team will be a critical partner to our Engineering, IT, Legal, and Product departments, fostering a culture of security-first thinking across the entire company. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to innovate securely and maintain the trust of our users.
• • You will own the end-to-end security engineering roadmap, encompassing a broad range of critical areas. This includes developing and implementing robust application security programs, designing secure cloud architectures on platforms like AWS and GCP, establishing effective identity and access management (IAM) governance, and embedding secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices into our engineering workflows.
• • A key aspect of this role involves driving security maturity within a fast-paced AI company. You will need to stay abreast of emerging security technologies, particularly those related to advances in agentic AI, and understand their implications for consumer-facing products. Your proactive approach will ensure Suno remains ahead of evolving threats.
• • You will provide strong technical leadership for security products, guiding them from initial conception through to operational deployment. This ensures that all security solutions are built to the highest quality standards and effectively meet our security objectives.
• • Collaboration is paramount. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security considerations are integrated into every stage of product development and business decision-making. This collaborative approach ensures that security is not an afterthought but a foundational element of our operations.
• • A significant part of your role will be nurturing and developing a high-performing security engineering team. You will foster a culture that emphasizes impact, collaboration, trust, ownership, and open communication. By setting clear performance expectations, providing continuous feedback, and upholding rigorous engineering standards, you will cultivate a team that excels in decision-making and delivery.
• • You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures across our primary cloud platforms, ensuring resilience, scalability, and compliance. This includes defining best practices for cloud security configurations, monitoring, and incident response.
• • You will enable and lead your teams to innovate and develop strong security programs and overall strategies within key domains such as Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Operations (SecOps), and Product Security. This involves empowering your team to explore new solutions and continuously improve our security posture.
• • Your technical leadership will extend to ensuring that security products are not only functional but also meet the highest quality and reliability standards, aligning with Suno's commitment to excellence.
• • You will maintain a deep understanding of emerging security technologies and trends, with a specific focus on advancements in agentic AI and their potential applications within consumer products. This foresight is crucial for anticipating future security challenges and opportunities.
