📋 Description

• As Head of Technology, Transformation Full-Stack Builder at Workleap Inc., you will lead the evolution of the engineering organization toward a more autonomous, efficient, and AI-enabled model, driving faster delivery without compromising quality or trust.
• You will lead the Shared Tech group (~20 people) responsible for Product Operations, Data, and Security & Infrastructure, building platforms and practices that enable product teams to deliver faster with greater autonomy and impact through AI and automation.
• Workleap is a Montreal-based tech company building AI-powered HR solutions (Workleap Platform) and Microsoft 365 migration tools (ShareGate), serving over 20,000 companies with a mission to make work simpler through exceptional product value.
• You will shape systems, platforms, and technical leadership to increase engineering velocity, reduce friction, strengthen accountability, and build high-performing teams that operate as a high-leverage system for outsized customer impact.

🎯 Requirements

• +8 years of experience in engineering leadership within a scaling or large-scale SaaS environment
• Hands-on experience in transformation contexts focused on improving team velocity, efficiency, and overall impact
• Strong technical credibility with a hands-on mindset: ability to go deep, understand systems, and contribute to technical decisions
• Experience managing and developing leaders within engineering organizations of approximately 20–30 people
• Strong ability to influence in matrix environments and quickly build credibility with senior stakeholders
• Good understanding of French (written and spoken) required
