- • The Helpdesk Technician II provides day-to-day support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of client IT systems, managing client IT system infrastructure and any process related to these systems. This role is critical to CyberSheath’s mission of delivering improved cybersecurity posture for clients in the Defense Industrial Base by eliminating redundant security practices and optimizing existing investments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include remotely troubleshooting and resolving client requests involving end-user hardware, software, and cloud services; providing operational support for desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux), Microsoft 365/Azure services, networking devices, backup and disaster recovery systems, hardware peripherals, mobile devices, and line-of-business applications; assisting with client onboarding/offboarding; deploying and maintaining security tools; maintaining helpdesk ticketing system notes and time entries; creating comprehensive documentation; providing escalation support for Level I staff; and working with third-party vendors to remediate issues.

- • In this role, the technician will deepen expertise in hybrid IT environments, strengthen customer service and technical troubleshooting abilities, gain experience with enterprise-scale Microsoft and cloud technologies, develop documentation and vendor coordination skills, and grow into a trusted escalation point within a high-performing, remote-first managed services team.
