- • The Home Based Systems Administrator at Delegate CX Inc. plays a critical role in maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environment for U.S.-based clients, directly enabling business continuity and operational efficiency through expert technical support and proactive system management.
- • This role goes beyond standard helpdesk functions by combining Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint security, and infrastructure management, making it essential for safeguarding digital assets and ensuring seamless user experiences across distributed environments.
- • The person will provide Tier 2/3 support by troubleshooting and resolving escalated IT issues, including complex software, hardware, and access problems that require deep technical analysis and timely resolution.
- • They will administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), ensuring optimal performance, licensing compliance, and user accessibility across the organization.
- • They will manage user lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, licensing adjustments, and access control, to ensure secure and timely provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts and resources.
- • They will configure and support identity and access management using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, implementing role-based access controls, group policies, and directory synchronization to maintain least-privilege principles.
- • They will implement and manage MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and RBAC policies to strengthen security posture and reduce risk of unauthorized access or credential-based threats.
- • They will administer and monitor Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance enforcement, application deployment, and remote wipe capabilities, ensuring endpoints adhere to organizational security standards.
- • They will automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure consistency in system configurations and reporting.
- • They will support and maintain endpoint security tools such as SentinelOne (EDR) and email security platforms (Ironscales, Barracuda), monitoring alerts, investigating threats, and coordinating responses to potential breaches.
- • They will monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, working with IT leadership to apply patches, update configurations, and document findings for continuous improvement.
- • They will perform Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022), including patching, performance monitoring, backup verification, and service maintenance to ensure server reliability and uptime.
- • They will troubleshoot network-related issues (LAN/WAN/VPN/DNS), escalate when necessary, and collaborate with networking teams to resolve connectivity and performance problems affecting remote users.
- • They will maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures in JIRA or similar ticketing systems, enabling knowledge sharing, audit readiness, and efficient incident resolution.
- • They will provide user training and technical guidance when needed, helping end-users understand security best practices, new tools, and system changes to reduce support tickets and increase adoption.
- • They will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization efforts, identifying inefficiencies, recommending upgrades, and participating in projects that enhance IT service delivery.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or advanced IT support roles with proven hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.
- • Strong knowledge of Active Directory (users, groups, OUs, GPOs), Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC implementation.
- • Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting, along with experience managing Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Microsoft Intune, and endpoint security tools like SentinelOne.
