📋 Description

• HVAC Technician role focused on maintaining and repairing commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment, including HVAC systems, to ensure operational efficiency and safety for Smartcare’s clients nationwide.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, installing and servicing HVAC and refrigeration units, documenting service activities, and responding to emergency service calls across client sites.
• Smartcare is a national provider of comprehensive mechanical services for commercial foodservice and refrigeration systems, serving clients across the U.S. with a commitment to quality, safety, and equal employment opportunity.
• The technician will develop advanced troubleshooting skills, gain experience with complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, and contribute to minimizing equipment downtime for critical foodservice operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid HVAC certification or equivalent technical training
• Proven experience servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Ability to travel to client sites across Texas and potentially nationwide
• Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varied environmental conditions
