- • As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer I at Availity, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our healthcare technology platform by engineering, supporting, and enhancing our critical identity and access management systems. This position is integral to maintaining the security, integrity, and compliance of Availity's digital assets and user access, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information.
- • You will be deeply involved in the entire lifecycle of identity management, from provisioning and de-provisioning to governance and access reviews. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing and managing robust security controls that are both auditable and manageable, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve working with and supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies, such as SAML and OIDC, enabling seamless and secure access for our users across various applications and services.
- • You will also contribute to the implementation and management of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions, adding an essential layer of security to protect against unauthorized access and evolving cyber threats.
- • The position requires hands-on experience with leading IAM products like ForgeRock, Saviynt, Entra ID, or Ping Identity, or comparable enterprise-grade solutions. Your ability to operate, configure, and troubleshoot these systems will be paramount to their success.
- • You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing IAM Federation with both customers and vendors, ensuring secure and efficient integration points.
- • A key responsibility will be performing regular updates and maintenance for all IAM tools within the environment, ensuring they are running optimally and securely.
- • You will actively triage and support operational issues related to IAM systems and tools, diagnosing and resolving problems efficiently to minimize disruption.
- • A proactive approach to automation will be highly valued, as you will be tasked with automating manual tasks related to IAM systems and tools to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
- • You will be expected to author comprehensive technical documentation for all supported products, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- • This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse systems, including UNIX/Linux environments and LDAP directories, requiring a solid understanding of their security implications and management.
- • You will contribute to securing cloud-based solutions, including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS environments, understanding the unique security challenges and best practices associated with cloud deployments.
- • Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Ansible) will be beneficial for integrating IAM solutions into modern development workflows.
- • The role demands excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from technical teams to management.
- • You will be expected to demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically, solve non-standard or undocumented issues, and possess a holistic understanding of the products you support.
- • A passion for learning and an adaptable, open-minded approach are essential, as the IAM landscape is constantly evolving.
- • The ability to work independently with minimal guidance, manage multiple and changing priorities, and maintain composure under pressure in an interrupt-driven environment is crucial for success.
- • You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement within the healthcare technology sector, contributing to Availity's mission of empowering the nation's premier healthcare ecosystem.
- • This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a certified "Great Place to Work" environment, known for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee development.
