Every inbound call, email, or chat you handle is a pivotal moment in someone’s immigration journey, and you will set the tone for the entire Manifest experience.
- • Own the intake pipeline for extraordinary-ability and high-skilled visa categories (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A). You will quickly become fluent in the nuances of these petitions—understanding how a single publication, award, or salary data point can swing a case from “possible” to “probable”—and translate that knowledge into clear, jargon-free guidance for anxious founders, researchers, artists, and engineers.
- • Conduct lightning-fast triage: within minutes of receiving a lead, you will read resumes, skim publication lists, scan salary evidence, and flag red flags such as gaps in employment, weak citation counts, or missing recommendation letters. You will then classify each lead as “strong,” “moderate,” “weak,” or “unclear,” and route the file to the correct attorney queue with crisp, actionable notes.
- • Master our tech stack—intake forms, CRM fields, tagging conventions, and automated follow-up sequences—to ensure zero data loss and 100 % traceability. You will build saved replies, call scripts, and FAQ snippets that scale your personal touch across hundreds of weekly inquiries.
- • Serve as a calming translator between anxious clients and the labyrinth of U.S. immigration law. Whether someone is panicking about an RFE deadline or simply confused by the difference between EB-1A and O-1, you will deliver answers that are accurate, empathetic, and confidence-inspiring.
- • Collaborate daily with attorneys, case managers, and product engineers to refine intake criteria, surface bottlenecks, and propose workflow tweaks. Your frontline observations will directly influence product roadmaps and legal strategy.
- • Track conversion metrics—call-to-lead, lead-to-qualified, qualified-to-signed—and iterate on scripts, forms, and email cadences to lift each KPI. You will treat every “no” as data, feeding insights back to marketing and product teams to sharpen targeting.
- • Maintain meticulous records: every note, tag, and timestamp must withstand attorney review and potential USCIS scrutiny. Your documentation habits will become the gold standard that future paralegals emulate.
- • Champion a culture of responsiveness. You will aim to answer every inbound call on the first ring and reply to every email within one business hour, even when volume spikes during H-1B season or after a major press mention.
- • Contribute to knowledge-base articles, webinar scripts, and social-media FAQs so that your expertise compounds across the entire Manifest community. Over time, you will become the go-to internal authority on intake best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a U.S. immigration paralegal, including direct exposure to intake or client-facing roles
- • Demonstrated familiarity with employment-based and business immigration case types, especially extraordinary ability categories (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A)
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—crisp, warm, and confident across phone, email, and chat
- • Proven ability to triage and qualify high-volume leads quickly without sacrificing accuracy
- • Meticulous organization and systems-driven mindset; comfort with CRMs, intake forms, and case-management tools
