- • Own the end-to-end implementation journey for Plaid’s most strategic Enterprise customers—spanning fintech disruptors, Fortune 500 banks, and category-defining apps—ensuring every integration launches on time, on scope, and with measurable impact on millions of end-users’ financial lives.
- • Translate complex business objectives into elegant technical solutions: architect secure, scalable integrations across lending, wealth management, account opening, fraud detection, proptech, healthcare, and bill-pay verticals, while guiding customers through OAuth flows, webhooks, and real-time data synchronization.
- • Serve as the single threaded owner for each engagement—scoping requirements, producing architecture diagrams, writing sample code, defining success metrics, and building 90-day roadmaps that align customer milestones with Plaid’s latest product releases.
- • Run high-stakes project management: maintain living project charters, drive weekly steering-committee calls, surface risks early, and keep cross-functional pods of engineers, product managers, and executives accountable to launch dates—even when scope creeps or regulatory hurdles appear.
- • Lead immersive onsite sessions—kickoffs in San Francisco skyscrapers, technical integration reviews in New York fintech hubs, and post-launch retros in London accelerators—building trust through white-boarding, live debugging, and executive storytelling.
- • Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, translating nuanced technical trade-offs into clear business impact, and influencing product roadmaps by channeling customer feedback directly into Plaid’s engineering and product organizations.
- • Codify tribal knowledge into repeatable playbooks: create templates, checklists, and automation scripts that shrink implementation timelines from months to weeks, and mentor junior specialists to scale the Enterprise motion across North America and EMEA.
- • Continuously level-up on Plaid’s evolving platform—beta endpoints, new data sources, machine-learning fraud scores—then distill those updates into crisp enablement sessions that keep customers on the cutting edge without breaking existing workflows.
- • Champion a customer-first culture inside Plaid: partner with Account Executives on pre-sales scoping, loop in Technical Account Managers for post-launch expansion, and feed real-world insights back to Product to shape the next generation of open-finance APIs.
- • Navigate ambiguity with composure: triage edge-case bugs at 2 a.m. launch nights, negotiate data-sharing agreements with bank partners, and turn regulatory curveballs into product opportunities—all while keeping customer NPS and reference-ability sky-high.
