- • This is a founder opportunity to build a virtual PLC platform that modernizes how engineers write and deploy programmable logic controller code in manufacturing, addressing critical inefficiencies in current workflows that cause costly downtime.
- • Day to day, the founder will lead product development, define the technical vision for AI-native PLC tooling, engage with manufacturing experts to validate use cases, and drive go-to-market strategy to achieve early traction and fundraising milestones.
- • Forum Ventures LP is a venture studio that co-creates B2B SaaS companies from 0 to 1, providing capital, operational support, investor access, and a proven playbook to increase founder success rates beyond traditional startups.
- • The founder will gain end-to-end experience in building a deep-tech industrial software company, from problem validation and MVP development to scaling toward $50-100K ARR and securing seed and Series A funding with Forum’s guidance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Early-stage operator experience with expertise in industrial automation, PLCs, or manufacturing software workflows
- • Ability to attract, hire, and lead world-class technical and domain-expert teams
- • Demonstrated passion for using technology to solve high-stakes, regulated industrial problems
- • Desire to be a venture-backed founder based in Canada or the US, capable of collaborating in North American time zones
