- • MLB Network seeks an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join their team and help build robust CI/CD pipelines, create automations, and ensure reliability and performance of MLBN’s systems.
- • Administer and optimize Windows and Linux-based systems with a solid grasp of OS-level architectures and performance tuning; administer and maintain virtualization platforms for back office and broadcast; support and build databases for enterprise and broadcast; manage and support backend storage systems.
- • Build and maintain infrastructure using automation and configuration management tooling (ex: Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc); develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency; collaborate with internal IT and engineering teams to build systems, integrations, and business processes.
- • Design and maintain production-grade cloud systems; stay current with system information, changes, and updates; work with subject matter experts on networking and server projects to improve the end-user experience; maintain 24/7 business continuity by providing night, weekend, and on-call support as needed, with potential travel for major events.
- • Learn and apply advanced DevOps practices in a broadcast and enterprise environment; gain hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (GCP/Azure preferred), virtualization technologies, and storage systems; develop expertise in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripting while contributing to high-availability systems supporting live sports broadcasting.
