đź“‹ Description
- • As a Site Reliability Engineer at ShiftKey, you will ensure the stability, security, and high availability of the company’s healthcare marketplace platform, acting as a proactive partner to engineering teams to prevent incidents before they occur.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include splitting time 50/50 between maintaining system reliability (reducing tech debt, improving deployments, strengthening observability) and active development (building automation and tooling), contributing to major initiatives like the AWS region migration, participating in the weekly 'Sheriff' rotation for ad-hoc infrastructure support, investigating logs and debugging complex distributed system issues using observability tools, and leveraging AI tools like ClaudeCode and Cursor to automate toil while maintaining engineering rigor.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at ShiftKey, a platform disrupting healthcare staffing by connecting facilities with licensed professionals to mitigate staffing shortages, operating with a follow-the-sun model that eliminates scheduled on-call duties after 5:00 PM Warsaw time thanks to US-based counterparts.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in infrastructure-as-code, cloud operations on AWS, observability, and automation, while gaining experience in balancing innovation with reliability in a high-growth, supportive environment that values sustainable engineering practices.
