• • The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer Senior Consultant I leads monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure incidents across Allstate’s enterprise technology ecosystem, driving rapid response to ensure reliability and performance of critical systems as part of the "Zero Wait" customer obsession initiative.
• • Day to day, the role serves as the primary technical escalation point for complex incidents in Storage, UNIX, and Backup stacks, leads incident response during outages, coaches junior analysts, develops SOPs, drives automation solutions, and partners with engineering teams to implement system changes while applying advanced monitoring tools like Netcool, Datadog, and Azure Data Explorer.
• • The role operates within Allstate’s product-centric operating model, collaborating with Digital Product Teams and service teams to optimize service delivery, eliminate friction points, and enhance system reliability and customer experience through technical expertise and continuous improvement.
• • The person can develop deep technical expertise across UNIX/Linux, Storage SAN/NAS/OBS, Backup (Rubrik), Windows, Nutanix, Azure, and AWS platforms, advance into senior technical or leadership roles such as Service Analyst III, Service Consultant, or technical leadership in specialized infrastructure domains, and gain experience in automation, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted tools for incident triage and remediation.
