- • Selected Category: HR & Recruiting
- • Parent Category: Human Resources
- • Confidence: 0.90
- • Reasoning: The job title 'Instructional System Designer' falls under learning and development, which is a core function of Human Resources (HR). The role supports HR, Engineering, Safety, Finance, and IT by developing learning solutions to strengthen workforce skills—this aligns with HR’s responsibility for talent development, training, and organizational learning. While the role involves design and technology, the primary purpose is workforce capability building, not product design or software engineering. The categorization is guided by the title’s implication of an HR/L&D role, and the description confirms partnership with HR as a key stakeholder. No more specific child category (e.g., Recruiter, Training Specialist) exists in the list, so HR & Recruiting is the most appropriate fit under the Human Resources parent category.
