You will personally review 40-60 estimates per day, ensuring each line item—from quarter-panel blend times to OEM wiring harness pricing—meets both insurer guidelines and our own “Fix it Right the First Time” standard.
- • Own the end-to-end audit cycle: open the CCC One file, cross-check VIN-specific parts catalogs, validate labor allowances against our negotiated rate tables, flag photo gaps, and either approve, pend, or reject the estimate in under 12 minutes. Your red pen (or green stamp) directly influences cycle time, customer satisfaction scores, and store net profit.
- • Coach field appraisers in real time. When you spot a missed overlap, a reused clip that should be replaced, or a refinish step that violates program rules, you jump on a 5-minute Zoom huddle or send a concise Loom video. Your feedback loop turns rookie estimators into A-level performers and keeps veteran appraisers sharp.
- • Drive continuous-improvement projects that move the needle on KPIs. Last quarter, one analyst reduced supplement frequency by 18 % simply by creating a one-page “Top 10 Photo Mistakes” cheat sheet. We will give you the runway to pilot similar data-driven experiments.
- • Partner with insurer desk reviewers, parts procurement teams, and store GMs to resolve complex claims—think aluminum structural repairs, ADAS calibrations, or recycled OEM assemblies. You will translate technical jargon into plain English so everyone understands why a bumper cover must be replaced, not repaired.
- • Master our proprietary dashboards in Excel and Power BI. You will slice and dice metrics like severity, ARO, and cycle time, then present findings in Monday-morning stand-ups. If you can automate a repetitive task with a macro or a Python script, we will cheer you on.
- • Champion compliance with state regulations, OEM position statements, and insurer mandates. When a new position statement drops at 4:00 p.m. PST, you will digest it, update the rules engine, and push guidance to the field before stores open the next morning.
- • Provide white-glove support to customers who call or email with questions about their estimate. Whether it is a single mom worried about her deductible or a fleet manager tracking 200 vehicles, you will deliver empathetic, accurate answers that reinforce Driven Brands’ reputation for transparency.
- • Maintain a laser focus on West Coast hours (9 a.m.–6 p.m. PST). You will sync with East Coast teammates during a 30-minute overlap window, then own the afternoon surge of California and Arizona claims. A quiet home office, noise-canceling headset, and reliable 50+ Mbps internet are your daily toolkit.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of hands-on automotive appraisal experience OR equivalent background as a collision technician, painter, or body shop manager
- • 1–2 years of prior experience as an insurance re-inspector or desk reviewer (nice-to-have)
- • Proficiency with CCC One ADXE or Mitchell estimating platforms
- • Demonstrated ability to self-manage a high-volume workload in a remote environment
- • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic macros)
