- • Join dLocal, a leading global payments processor enabling the world's largest companies to collect payments seamlessly across 40 emerging markets. We empower global brands to boost conversion rates and simplify payment expansion, acting as both a processor and a merchant of record where we operate. This is your chance to be part of an exceptional international team of over 1000 professionals from more than 30 nationalities, forging an impactful global career that touches the lives of millions daily. At dLocal, we are builders, embrace challenges, and are deeply customer-centric. If this resonates with your professional ethos, you will undoubtedly thrive here.
- • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Audit Manager to spearhead our Internal Audit initiatives specifically for dLocal's Brazilian entities. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to manage the entire lifecycle of risk and control reviews, from planning and execution to reporting and remediation follow-up. You will report directly to the VP of Internal Audit, providing critical insights and ensuring robust governance across our operations in Brazil.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide array of critical audit functions. You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive internal audit plans tailored to the specific risks and regulatory landscape of Brazil. This includes identifying key business risks, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, and performing detailed testing to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves collaborating closely with the Country Manager for Brazil, as well as key stakeholders within the Risk, Finance, and Compliance departments. You will facilitate open communication, provide expert guidance on risk management and internal control best practices, and ensure that audit findings are understood and addressed promptly and effectively.
- • You will be responsible for conducting in-depth audits of various business processes, including but not limited to financial reporting, operational efficiency, IT general controls, and regulatory compliance. This will require a deep understanding of the payments industry, local Brazilian regulations (such as those from the Central Bank of Brazil and other relevant authorities), and dLocal's unique business model.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying emerging risks and control weaknesses. You will conduct special investigations and ad-hoc reviews as needed, responding swiftly to management requests and critical business events. Your ability to analyze complex situations, draw sound conclusions, and present findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner will be paramount.
- • You will play a crucial role in driving the implementation of audit recommendations, working with business owners to develop remediation plans and tracking their progress to ensure effective closure of identified issues. This involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability throughout the Brazilian operations.
- • This position offers a unique platform to influence strategic decisions within a dynamic and highly regulated financial technology environment. You will gain hands-on experience with innovative payment products and services, contributing directly to the company's growth and stability in one of the world's most significant emerging markets.
- • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities, working independently, and demonstrating leadership qualities within a collaborative team setting.
- • By joining dLocal as our Internal Audit Manager in Brazil, you will not only contribute to strengthening our control environment but also become an integral part of a fast-paced, innovative company that is revolutionizing the global payments landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact and advance your career in a challenging and rewarding industry.
