  • • As an Investment Analytics Manager at Jellyfish, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw marketing data into strategic insights that drive client success and business growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of Investment Analytics, you will be a key contributor to a dynamic, cross-functional team that blends technical expertise with creative problem-solving to elevate paid media performance for global clients.
  • • Your work will directly influence how clients measure, optimize, and scale their digital marketing investments by designing robust measurement frameworks, building automated analytics pipelines, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations that align with business objectives.
  • • You will spend your days collaborating with marketing analysts, data scientists, and visualization experts to collect, clean, and analyze data from diverse paid media channels including social, search, display, and video platforms. This involves defining KPIs, designing dashboards in Tableau, Looker Studio, and Power BI, and ensuring data integrity through ETL processes using SQL and Google BigQuery.
  • • A core part of your role will be consulting with clients to understand their goals, translating those needs into technical specifications, and proposing test-and-learn strategies—such as lift studies and conversion experiments—to refine campaign effectiveness and justify marketing spend.
  • • You will also be responsible for identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements to data workflows, schema design, and reporting automation, helping the team scale its analytical capabilities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • • By working closely with cross-functional teams across media, creative, and technology disciplines, you will ensure that analytics insights are not only technically sound but also strategically relevant and easily communicated to stakeholders at all levels.
  • • Jellyfish’s investment analytics team operates at the intersection of data science, marketing strategy, and client service, fostering an environment where curiosity is rewarded and innovation is encouraged through experimentation and continuous learning.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in marketing analytics, gain hands-on experience with advanced tools like Python for machine learning modeling, and develop leadership skills by influencing client strategies and mentoring junior team members through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of experience in data management, ETL best practices, SQL, and data analytics
  • • Proficiency with Tableau and experience with Looker Studio and Power BI for data visualization
  • • Experience working with paid media data from channels such as social, search, display, video, and Google Analytics
  • • Experience with Google BigQuery and Python for data processing and building ML models (API experience desirable)
  • • Proficient knowledge of digital activation and understanding of how marketing levers influence campaign results
  • • Experience keeping a pipeline of opportunities organized and up-to-date with a careful, detail-oriented approach
