- • As an iOS Engineer on the Vault Experience Team at Nord Security Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of password security for millions of users worldwide. You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the core functionalities of NordPass, our award-winning password manager, ensuring it remains a leading solution for credential management, secure data storage, and effortless logins.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a product that directly impacts user safety and convenience in the digital realm. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team focused on innovation, user-centric design, and robust engineering practices. Your work will directly influence how over 7 million users and 10,000+ global companies manage their sensitive information, making your contributions highly visible and impactful.
- • You will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle of iOS features within the NordPass application. This includes designing, coding, testing, and deploying high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant and effective iOS features.
- • A key focus of your role will be on the 'Vault Experience,' meaning you will be deeply involved in how users interact with and manage their stored data. This includes features related to password storage, organization, generation, autofill, and secure sharing. You will strive to create an intuitive, seamless, and highly secure experience that builds user trust and loyalty.
- • You will contribute to maintaining and improving the codebase, ensuring adherence to best practices in Swift and Objective-C. This involves writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, as well as participating in code reviews to uphold quality standards and share knowledge within the team.
- • Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. You will proactively seek opportunities to optimize the application for speed, stability, and resource efficiency across a wide range of iOS devices and operating system versions.
- • You will actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. This ensures efficient workflow, continuous improvement, and effective team communication.
- • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in iOS development, Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and security best practices will be essential. You will leverage this knowledge to introduce innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge for NordPass.
- • You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, share your expertise, and contribute to a culture of learning and growth within the team. Your insights and experience will be valuable in guiding the development of less experienced team members.
- • Collaborating with backend teams to define and integrate APIs will be necessary to ensure seamless data synchronization and functionality across different platforms and services.
