• • As a hands-on engineer within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be instrumental in driving continuous improvements. Our team operates with agility, shipping features frequently and leveraging real user behavior data to inform our decisions and accelerate learning. This role demands a blend of strong technical acumen, a genuine interest in the transformative power of search and large language models, and an unwavering passion for crafting exceptional user experiences, all underpinned by a commitment to delivering high-quality, performant user interfaces.
• • Your core responsibilities will revolve around the meticulous build and iterative enhancement of critical user flows. This includes onboarding sequences designed to welcome and guide new users, sign-up processes that are seamless and intuitive, paywall presentations that are both informative and compelling, checkout experiences that are secure and frictionless, and retention strategies aimed at fostering long-term user engagement. The ultimate goal is to significantly improve conversion rates and Lifetime Value (LTV) for our mobile application.
• • You will be empowered to run rapid A/B tests and sophisticated funnel experiments. These experiments will encompass a wide range of variables, from subtle UI variations and strategic pricing tests to entirely new onboarding flows. Your ability to analyze experimental data rigorously and translate insights into actionable decisions will be paramount in determining which features to scale and which to iterate upon, ensuring we are always optimizing for user satisfaction and business growth.
• • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work closely with Growth Product Managers, talented Designers, and insightful Data Scientists. Together, you will define clear hypotheses, collaboratively prioritize the most impactful experiments, and meticulously measure the impact of our initiatives on core metrics such as user activation, conversion rates, churn reduction, and overall user engagement.
• • A significant part of your role will involve the development and ongoing maintenance of high-quality, reusable components. These components will be specifically designed for growth-related surfaces within the app, including sophisticated paywalls, dynamic modals, informative tooltips, and other interactive elements. Ensuring these components are not only visually appealing and user-friendly but also performant and hyper-optimized for speed and efficiency will be a critical aspect of your work.
