- • Build and maintain production-grade iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, where AI interactions are central to the user experience.
- • Design and implement UX patterns for AI-driven features including streaming responses, loading states, retries, and fallbacks to ensure user trust and reliability.
- • Integrate AI-powered capabilities through backend APIs, ensuring seamless communication between client and server components.
- • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency to deliver responsive, low-latency experiences on real-world devices.
- • Capture and instrument user signals and feedback to inform AI model evaluation, iteration, and system improvements.
- • Collaborate closely with backend and machine learning engineers to align on API design, data flow, and system behavior for AI features.
- • Maintain high App Store quality standards, ensuring stability, crash-free performance, and compliance with Apple’s guidelines.
- • Implement and manage feature flags and remote configuration systems to enable controlled rollouts and A/B testing of AI functionalities.
- • Apply strong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background task management to handle long-running workflows and persistent context.
- • Work with on-device machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite for lightweight inference where applicable.
- • Detect, monitor, and resolve production issues with clear root-cause analysis to ensure system reliability under non-deterministic AI behavior.
- • Design and execute strategies to handle partial failures, latency spikes, and unpredictable model outputs without degrading user experience.
- • Contribute to a high-talent-density team that values independent execution, collective decision-making, and rapid iteration while maintaining high-quality output.
- • Ship and maintain production iOS apps with a focus on long-term reliability, scalability, and user-centric design.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of iOS development experience using Swift
- • Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features into mobile applications
- • Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background tasks in iOS
- • Solid iOS performance and memory optimization skills
- • Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS apps
- • Comfort designing for latency, partial failure, and non-deterministic AI behavior
