• • As an IT Identity Security Engineer at CNO Financial Group, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's electronic assets and sensitive data by focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT Identity Infrastructure solutions. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work extensively with cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge identity and access management technologies.
• • You will be instrumental in building and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, primarily within a Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) environment. This involves a deep understanding of authentication protocols like SAML to ensure secure and seamless access for enterprise applications.
• • Your responsibilities will extend to supporting and enhancing privileged identity management solutions, such as CyberArk, and identity governance platforms like SailPoint IdentityNow, and PingOne for Customers, contributing to a comprehensive security posture.
• • A key aspect of this role involves actively participating in various IT projects. This includes analyzing business requirements, designing secure solutions, developing and implementing these solutions, and ensuring they effectively protect information assets while enabling necessary business functionality.
• • You will contribute to the strategic planning and execution of annual projects and deliverables, aligning security initiatives with the overarching business goals and strategies set forth by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Director of IT Security, Identity.
• • The role requires the creation of comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed engineering diagrams, thorough security analyses, whitepapers, system documentation, and presentations to communicate complex security concepts and solutions to various stakeholders.
• • A significant focus will be placed on leveraging automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations. This includes developing scripts or utilizing tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline security processes, and improve the overall security posture.
• • You will be responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of identity and privileged identity security-related technologies, ensuring their optimal performance and security.
• • This position involves utilizing a range of software and hardware tools to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex problems affecting information security tools and systems. You will provide critical 2nd and 3rd tier operational support, ensuring the continuous availability and integrity of security infrastructure.
• • You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing essential information security expertise and consulting services to internal IT teams, business system owners, and other stakeholders, guiding them on best practices and security requirements.
• • A crucial part of your role will be performing product and solution lifecycle management for security systems. This includes ensuring adequate capacity, maintaining system integrity, and guaranteeing the availability of all security systems to meet business demands.
• • You will ensure that new and existing products and solutions strictly conform to established information security policies, standards, and industry best practices, acting as a guardian of CNO's digital assets.
• • Continuous research into emerging technologies is expected, with the goal of identifying and evaluating solutions that can further enhance enterprise operations and security capabilities.
• • You will conduct thorough reviews of both new and existing system designs to ensure their compliance with security standards and best practices, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
