📋 Description

• As an IT Solutions Architect at Black Mountain Dynamics LLC, you will lead network buildouts and perform advanced network analysis to support challenging customer issues, playing a key role in delivering 'Cybersecurity by Design' for clients.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing LAN/WAN/WLAN and data center networks, configuring and maintaining network hardware and software, monitoring and optimizing network performance, leading physical rack and stack installations, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients on strategic network and security matters.
• You will work within a fast-paced, mission-driven team supporting high-stakes accounts like Waymo, where you’ll mentor junior technicians, lead incident response, and conduct proactive threat hunting to ensure ultra-low latency and high-availability networks for autonomous vehicle operations.
• This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in enterprise networking and cybersecurity, lead complex technical initiatives, and grow into senior leadership positions such as technical director or program management.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience configuring and maintaining Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki hardware, with at least 3 years leading network architecture and implementation including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and physical installation.
• Deep expertise in network architecture design, implementation, and troubleshooting, including WiFi design, packet capture and analysis, and integration of cybersecurity measures.
• Exceptional communication skills with experience in client-facing roles, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and participate in on-call rotations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (desired).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation (desired).
