📋 Description

• The IT Specialist II ensures proper computer, software, and network operation so that end users can accomplish appropriate business tasks for all business units. This role is critical to maintaining seamless technology operations across Meriton’s national network of HVAC companies, enabling productivity and supporting the company’s mission to be the best provider, partner, employer, and investment in the industry.
• Day to day, the IT Specialist II will take service desk calls, diagnose and resolve technical issues, set up new user equipment and accounts, train end users on hardware and software, support Apple and Microsoft products, manage inventory, assist with cybersecurity practices, configure systems, support remote and in-person workers, facilitate vendor repairs, and document IT processes and workflows. Occasional travel to branch offices may be required.

• In this role, the person can develop expertise in enterprise IT support, gain hands-on experience with MacOS, iOS, InTune, PowerShell, Office 365, Azure, and Active Directory, build project management skills through moderate-scope initiatives like system migrations and MDM deployments, and grow into a trusted technology advisor who aligns IT solutions with business operations across a growing national organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT services support role
• MacOS experience required
• Familiarity with PowerShell required
• Associate degree preferred
• Microsoft (MCP) Certification and/or ITIL (fundamentals level) preferred
• Knowledge of MS Active Directory infrastructure
