- • As an IT System Engineer specializing in server and virtualization, you will play a critical role in maintaining and advancing Micron Technology’s global data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across hybrid cloud environments.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing VMware/Nutanix HCI platforms and Dell/Lenovo/Splunk/Cisco hardware, handling IT incidents and service requests within SLAs, monitoring system performance metrics, and providing 7x24 on-call support for operational escalations.
- • You will collaborate with Micron’s Business Units to align infrastructure solutions with business needs, promote standardization, ensure compliance, and contribute to site expansion and global technology projects.
- • The Infrastructure Engineering team at Micron drives innovation in server and storage technologies, offering exposure to cutting-edge virtualization, automation, and hybrid cloud architectures in a world-class semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise infrastructure, gain hands-on experience with automation tools like PowerShell and Linux scripting, and develop skills in system architecture design, disaster recovery planning, and cross-functional project execution.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Management, or a related technical field
- • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell and/or Linux shell scripting for automation and system management
- • Hands-on experience with VMware, Nutanix HCI, or similar virtualization platforms
- • Familiarity with Dell, Lenovo, or Cisco server hardware and infrastructure components
- • Experience using data analysis tools such as Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting
