- • As an IT Systems Engineer at Flock Safety, you will maintain, support, and enhance the company's IT infrastructure, playing a critical role in ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable operations across a multi-OS environment.
- • Day to day, you will manage identity and access systems, oversee endpoint and device management, resolve complex Tier 3 support tickets, develop AI-powered automation workflows, and collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure responsible AI adoption.
- • You will join a high-performance, low-ego team at Flock Safety, a leading safety technology platform trusted by thousands of communities and law enforcement agencies, backed by nearly $700M in funding and a $7.5B valuation, where innovation and impact are central to the culture.
- • In this role, you will grow into a resident expert on AI-powered IT workflows, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge automation tools, and contribute to strategic initiatives that improve system performance, security, and scalability while mentoring peers on responsible AI use.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 1–3 years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer, system administrator, or similar IT support role
- • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, PowerShell, or Bash
- • Experience with MDM systems (e.g., Kandji, Jamf, FleetDM, Scalefusion) and identity platforms like Okta
- • Hands-on experience evaluating, deploying, or building AI-integrated workflows using tools like Workato, MCP servers, or LLM APIs
- • Strong knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems
- • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS administration (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian)
- • Understanding of basic security principles, MFA, and responsible AI practices regarding data privacy
