• • Campus LLC is seeking dedicated, student-centered Teaching Assistants (TAs) to play a pivotal role in our live, online college courses. As a TA, you will be instrumental in building meaningful relationships with students, guiding them through their academic journey, and ensuring they remain motivated, organized, and on track throughout the 11-week term. • • You will be an integral part of the instructional team, working collaboratively with the lead Instructor to provide timely and effective feedback and academic support. Your contributions will directly influence the learning outcomes and overall student experience in our online courses. • • Your academic responsibilities will be multifaceted and essential to the smooth operation and success of the courses. You will be tasked with supporting and grading assignments for a cohort of approximately 30-40 students per course. This involves providing constructive feedback that aids in student learning and development. Beyond grading, you will serve as a crucial mentor and coach, guiding students as they acquire new technical skills and cultivate essential professional competencies. Your role extends to actively participating in the learning process by attending lectures within the 11-week online course structure.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve leading discussion sections. These sessions are designed to reinforce key concepts covered in lectures and readings, providing students with opportunities to engage with the material more deeply and clarify any doubts. Furthermore, you will host weekly office hours. These virtual sessions are vital for deepening student understanding, addressing individual challenges, and fostering a strong sense of community among the students. Effective and consistent communication is paramount; you will be expected to communicate with students regularly and respond to their messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Your presence and support will be key in helping students stay motivated throughout the demanding 11-week quarter and in developing robust academic habits that will serve them well beyond the course.
