ITMS Patching Specialist

📋 Description

• • Join New Era Technology as an ITMS Patching Specialist, a critical role ensuring systems remain secure, up-to-date, and operational through effective patch management and maintenance within an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include deploying OS and application patches across Windows, macOS, Linux, and third-party software; monitoring and troubleshooting patch failures; working with IT Security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities; maintaining compliance with standards like NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001; performing preventive maintenance on servers, workstations, and network devices; monitoring system health dashboards; documenting activities in the ITSM system; responding to service requests and incidents; troubleshooting performance and compatibility issues; and ensuring proper rollback procedures for failed updates.
