📋 Description

• Join Public Cloud Group AG as a Junior Azure Engineer (m/w/d) in Austria, where you’ll support the digital transformation of customers through modern, secure, and future-proof Azure cloud solutions in a growing team of nearly 500 cloud experts across 21 European locations.
• Day to day, you’ll assist senior engineers and consultants in designing, documenting, and implementing Azure cloud solutions (networking, security, IaaS/PaaS), apply Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep, contribute to CI/CD pipelines with a shift-left security mindset, help gather customer requirements and create technical specifications, deepen your expertise in Azure services and the Well-Architected Framework, and support quality assurance, testing, and documentation in agile project teams.
• You’ll be part of a 15-person Azure team in the DACH region, learning directly from experienced senior engineers and consultants in a collaborative, cloud-enthusiastic environment focused on delivering scalable and clean solutions for clients.
• This role offers rapid skill development in Azure cloud engineering, hands-on experience with IaC and DevOps practices, exposure to real-world client projects, and the opportunity to grow into a confident cloud consultant through mentorship, certifications, and continuous learning initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed IT-related degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar) or comparable vocational training with initial practical experience
• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including IaaS/PaaS concepts
• Basic proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) and/or introductory experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Fluency in German and English (minimum B2 level) in both spoken and written form
• Strong teamwork, learning motivation, and consultant mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
