📋 Description

• As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Trading 212 UK Ltd., you will play a critical role in enabling the company’s mission to democratize wealth-building by designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, resilient infrastructure across public and private cloud environments. Your work directly supports the platform used by over 4 million clients managing over €4 billion in assets, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of trading and investment services.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and deploying dynamically scalable, self-healing infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible; migrating workloads from on-premise to AWS/GCP environments; managing operational and security alerts and incidents; enhancing monitoring and logging systems with Grafana, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and similar tools; continuously improving performance and troubleshooting critical components; collaborating with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and receive feedback; and participating in shift work that may include public holidays to ensure 24/7 system reliability.
• You will join a high-velocity, innovative engineering team at Trading 212, a fast-growing fintech leader that has scaled its client base 20x and assets 50x in recent years. You’ll gain hands-on experience in incident response, CI/CD pipelines, and hybrid cloud environments, positioning yourself for accelerated growth into a mid-level or senior DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role within a high-performing, mission-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Basic understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD services such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins
• Foundational knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Prior exposure to monitoring and log management systems (Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or SIEM)
• Solid grasp of networking and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
