Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Masterborn 2 as a Junior QA Specialist and become the guardian of quality for high-impact web and mobile products built with React, React Native, Node.js and TypeScript. You will not be a lone ticket-closer; you will be embedded in cross-functional Scrum teams that include Developers, Scrum Masters, Proxy Product Owners and Product Designers, all collaborating daily to deliver flawless software to well-established American enterprises and fast-moving MVPs.
  • • Own the full manual testing lifecycle—from exploratory sessions and API contract validation to end-to-end user journeys—while shaping test scenarios, test cases and user stories that prevent defects before they reach production. Your mindset will be quality-oriented, not defect-oriented: you will ask “how do we build it right?” as often as “what is broken?”
  • • Execute test cases with surgical precision, documenting every deviation in Jira, attaching evidence from DevTools, Postman, Altair GraphQL or BrowserStack, and communicating findings in crisp, actionable language that developers love to read. Your bug reports will be so clear that fixes often ship within the same sprint.
  • • Pair with developers during story refinement to inject testability early, review API contracts, and surface edge cases before a single line of code is merged. You will become the team’s go-to resource for spotting UI/UX inconsistencies and accessibility gaps, elevating the experience for thousands of end-users.
  • • Leverage modern toolkits—Slack, GSuite, Miro, Figma, Coda.io, GitHub and Apple MacBook Pro—to keep documentation, test artefacts and team rituals transparent and friction-free. You will also experiment with AI-driven test assistants to accelerate repetitive tasks and free your brain for deeper exploratory work.
  • • Rotate between mature enterprise platforms and green-field MVPs, giving you exposure to both rigorous regression suites and rapid, context-switching sprints. This variety accelerates your learning curve and keeps every week fresh and intellectually stimulating.
  • • Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives, using your growing SQL skills to query staging databases and verify data integrity. When a production incident occurs, you will calmly reproduce the issue, isolate variables and guide the team toward a permanent fix.
  • • Receive structured mentoring from senior QA engineers who will review your test strategies, share advanced techniques and champion your growth. You will also enjoy dedicated self-development time each week to pursue ISTQB certification, AI testing courses or any other skill that sharpens your craft.
  • • Champion a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility. You will run informal “bug-bash” sessions, demo new tools to the team and celebrate quality wins in Slack, reinforcing the idea that great software is built, not just tested.
  • • Enjoy the freedom of 100 % remote work or a hybrid setup in WrocĹ‚aw—whichever fuels your productivity. Flexible hours mean you can hit the gym at noon or pick up kids from school, then return to a focused testing session when you are at your mental peak.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–9 months of commercial QA experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment
  • • Proven hands-on exploratory testing skills and familiarity with test case design
  • • Solid English (min. B2) and excellent Polish (min. C1) communication skills
  • • Basic SQL knowledge and experience querying relational databases
  • • Working understanding of REST APIs and browser DevTools
  • • Nice-to-have: ISTQB/ISEB Foundation certificate, prior client-facing exposure, eye for UI/UX flaws

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive B2B or UoP salary: 5 500–8 000 PLN + VAT (B2B) or 5 700–6 700 PLN gross (UoP)
  • • 100 % remote or hybrid work in WrocĹ‚aw with flexible hours and long-term contract stability
  • • 750 PLN per quarter for private health insurance and sports activities
  • • Paid days off, mentoring sessions and dedicated self-development time
  • • Latest Apple MacBook Pro and access to premium tools (BrowserStack, Postman, Figma, etc.)
