  • • Lead strategic customer relationships within a defined portfolio of IDNs and health systems, driving long-term growth, retention of base business, and influence over key purchasing decisions.
  • • Act as a trusted advisor to executive-level customer stakeholders across clinical, operational, and financial functions to align Beckman Coulter Diagnostics solutions with their business priorities.
  • • Analyze account performance and collaborate with Health Systems Executives to develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans that connect near-term actions with long-term growth objectives.
  • • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Specialists, Service, Finance, Marketing, and Client Services teams to ensure seamless execution and sustained customer success in a matrixed organization.
  • • Leverage Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to maintain pipeline and funnel accuracy, align internal resources, and deliver regular business reviews to customer leadership.
  • • Ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of diagnostic systems by coordinating closely with Service teams to maintain high-quality customer experience and resolve issues promptly.
  • • Conduct in-person customer-facing meetings 75% of the time, requiring travel between 50%-75% of the work schedule.
  • • Manage a territory covering the Virginia area and must reside within this designated territory.
  • • Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to accurately track opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and ensure data integrity for reporting and forecasting.
  • • Identify and secure new growth opportunities within existing accounts while maintaining strong relationships with current customers to expand contract value and service adoption.
  • • Participate in account planning sessions and contribute to executive-level business reviews with both internal stakeholders and customer leadership.
  • • Apply financial acumen to position diagnostic solutions in alignment with hospital operations, financial drivers, and healthcare economics to drive value-based outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 0-2 years’ experience
  • • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with customer stakeholders across clinical, operational, and financial functions
  • • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to align solutions to customer priorities and support account growth
  • • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment to support account execution and customer outcomes
  • • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage opportunities and maintain pipeline accuracy
  • • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Base salary range of $110,000–$130,000 with eligibility for Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC)
  • • Total target compensation (base + SIC) of $180,000–$200,000 annually
