  • • As an OEM Key Account Manager at Sensata Technologies, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and innovation within our industrial sector. This pivotal role focuses on nurturing and expanding relationships with both existing and prospective Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), with a strategic emphasis on securing new business for our advanced, sensor-rich solutions. These cutting-edge technologies are instrumental in enabling our customers to deliver a safer, more sustainable, electrified, and connected future across various critical industries.
  • • You will engage directly with leading OEMs and globally recognized brands, particularly within the HVAC, appliance, data center, and diversified industrial markets. Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand their business strategies, application needs, and technical requirements, identifying lucrative growth opportunities that align with their objectives and Sensata's capabilities.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves translating complex customer needs into tangible, actionable opportunities for Sensata and its ecosystem of partners. This requires a proactive and consultative approach to sales, fostering strong, trusted relationships at all levels of the customer organization, from technical teams to executive leadership.

  • • You will be expected to continuously innovate and refine your sales skills, deepening your knowledge of Sensata's comprehensive product portfolio, service offerings, and the unique value propositions we bring to our diverse customer base. This includes staying abreast of market trends and competitive landscapes.
  • • In addition to direct customer engagement, you may be involved in performing supplier audits at distributor warehouse locations to ensure quality and compliance. Furthermore, you will proactively identify and implement efficiency opportunities, such as developing distributor dashboards, to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
  • • Maintaining regular and proactive communication with distributors is crucial to mitigate shipment errors and resolve discrepancies, ensuring a seamless supply chain and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • • You will be a key participant in strategic new account development initiatives and in expanding the scope of existing key accounts within your assigned geographic territory or product line. This involves building robust relationships across various levels within the customer's organization, understanding their challenges, and positioning Sensata as a strategic partner.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed established revenue targets, contribute to the overall growth of Sensata's industrial business, and foster enduring, mutually beneficial relationships with our most important customers.
