- • As a Key Account Manager in Douala, you will be a pivotal member of our dynamic Commercial Team, which serves as the engine of Capi's growth. This team is characterized by its entrepreneurial spirit, data-driven approach, and a deep commitment to understanding and solving customer challenges. You will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding relationships with our most valuable corporate clients, ensuring they maximize the benefits of Capi's innovative international payments platform.
- • Your primary focus will be on strategic account growth and sophisticated relationship management. This involves building and maintaining robust, trusted partnerships with Capi's key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and a dedicated advocate for their needs. You will meticulously identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase transaction volumes and drive broader adoption of our product suite within these accounts. Developing comprehensive account plans will be crucial, with a clear emphasis on client retention, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and cultivating customer advocacy.
- • A significant aspect of your role will be dedicated to customer success and retention. You will proactively engage with clients, including those who are inactive or at risk of churn, to ensure their continued loyalty and drive reactivation. Anticipating potential client challenges and collaborating seamlessly with our internal product, operations, and compliance teams to deliver swift and effective resolutions will be paramount. You will conduct regular business reviews and optimization sessions to ensure clients are fully leveraging the Capi platform and achieving their desired outcomes.
- • Furthermore, you will act as the crucial 'voice of the customer' within Capi. Your insights, gathered from direct client interactions and market observations, will directly influence product development and process improvements. You will be responsible for gathering and disseminating competitive intelligence and market insights to bolster Capi's strategic position within the region. Documenting successful client engagements and developing scalable playbooks will be essential for enhancing account management practices across all our markets.
- • This role is inherently field-oriented, requiring a balance between dedicated office work in Douala and regular, impactful client visits across key business hubs. You will need to be comfortable navigating diverse business environments and building rapport with senior stakeholders. Your ability to blend commercial strategy with a deep understanding of customer needs will be key to driving retention, revenue expansion, and fostering long-term customer satisfaction.
