- • As a Key Account Manager at MeetingTomorrow, Inc., you will own the growth and retention of 8 to 10 strategic enterprise accounts, primarily Fortune 1000 companies, serving as the client’s primary partner and trusted advisor within the organization.
- • Day to day, you will build deep relationships with multiple stakeholders, map annual event calendars, scope new opportunities, lead proposals and client pitches, coordinate internal teams across sales, creative, and production, conduct business reviews, maintain CRM hygiene, and represent the company at industry events and client engagements with approximately 10% travel.
- • MeetingTomorrow is a 23-year-old full-service event agency headquartered in Chicago with a growing team of 90 people, 80% of whom work remotely across the U.S.; the company is recognized as a Top 20 Inspiring Workplace in North America and a recipient of the Events Industry Council's Social Impact Award, known for its collaborative culture and exceptional customer experience.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in enterprise account management within the events industry, strengthen your ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, deepen your consultative sales and relationship-building skills, and achieve measurable impact through account growth, retention, and expansion—positioning yourself as a strategic partner to both clients and internal teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years in account management, client success, or B2B sales
- • Account management experience at an event agency strongly preferred
- • Track record of retaining and growing complex enterprise accounts with verifiable retention metrics
- • Experience taking over accounts from a sales rep or another owner and becoming the client’s primary partner
- • CRM fluency required (NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar); NetSuite experience is a plus
- • Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder accounts, managing day-to-day contacts, and earning credibility with executive sponsors
