- • As a Key Account Manager at Solenis, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing a dedicated portfolio of accounts, ensuring their continued success and fostering deep, lasting relationships. Your primary mission will be to create tangible value for these assigned customers by delivering exceptional technical service and proactively identifying opportunities for new product integration and sales.
- • You will be the primary point of contact for your key accounts, deeply understanding their operational challenges and water-intensive industry needs. This involves conducting thorough reviews of their current treatment programs and processes, ensuring optimal application of Solenis's innovative chemical solutions and monitoring systems.
- • Through routine testing, diligent monitoring, and insightful analysis, you will guarantee the effectiveness of our solutions, directly contributing to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and ultimately, the retention and growth of our business within these accounts.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve conducting essential site visits and delivering comprehensive training programs, both in person and through our Learning Management System (LMS), to ensure a profound understanding of the operational intricacies of the territory's plants and any new customer sites.
- • You will be empowered to drive new business and introduce new applications within your assigned territory. This requires the strategic development and meticulous implementation of targeted sales plans to capitalize on emerging opportunities and expand Solenis's footprint.
- • Collaboration is key to success. You will work hand-in-hand with our extended commercial team, including Corporate Accounts, Regional Marketing, Pricing, and Applications specialists. This cross-functional partnership is essential for aligning on business requirements, understanding evolving market needs, and presenting a unified, expert front to our customers.
- • You will be accountable for the overall profitability of your accounts. This includes meticulous management of pump settings, strategic pricing decisions, and ensuring timely accounts receivable, all contributing to Solenis's financial health and growth.
- • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales funnel within Salesforce (SFDC) is a fundamental requirement. This involves diligently establishing, maintaining, and prioritizing leads and opportunities to ensure effective pipeline management and forecasting.
- • A proactive approach to safety is paramount. You will regularly review territory applications, processes, and procedures, identifying and recommending improvements to enhance safety standards for both Solenis employees and our customers' personnel.
- • This role demands a high degree of autonomy and initiative. You will independently perform non-routine and moderately complex assignments, demonstrating problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- • You will be expected to conduct in-depth research, evaluate existing processes, meticulously analyze data, and develop well-reasoned recommendations that drive efficiency, innovation, and customer value. In this technical capacity, all recommendations must be firmly grounded in robust technical analysis.
- • While primarily an individual contributor role, there may be opportunities to provide leadership and direction to junior team members, fostering their development and contributing to the overall strength of the sales and technical service team.
