This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise, process optimization, and strategic commercial development, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' operations and our company's growth.
  • • As a Key Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our valued clients, primarily within the pulp and paper industry. Your core mission will be to enhance their operational efficiencies, improve product quality, safeguard their valuable assets, minimize their environmental footprint, and foster cleaner, safer working environments through the strategic application and optimization of Solenis' comprehensive suite of chemical and process programs.

You will also be instrumental in managing and optimizing mill wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • • A significant aspect of your responsibilities will involve conducting routine testing, meticulous monitoring, and adept troubleshooting to identify and resolve process issues. This includes addressing challenges related to scaling, deposits, stickies/pitch, poor retention, and general runnability concerns that can impact production and quality.

  • • A crucial part of your success will involve identifying and proactively proposing program expansions that deliver demonstrable and measurable value to the mill, thereby strengthening our partnership and driving mutual growth.
  • • You will be responsible for presenting key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting thorough business reviews, and communicating performance data and strategic improvement plans in a clear, professional, and compelling manner, ensuring clients understand the value Solenis brings.
  • • Commercially, you will manage account revenue, ensure effective pricing execution, maintain healthy margin performance, and guarantee contract compliance, acting as the primary commercial point of contact for your assigned accounts.

  • • You will also play a vital role in supporting inventory management, coordinating orders, and ensuring seamless onsite service delivery to meet client needs.
  • • Safety is paramount at Solenis and within our client sites. You will be expected to strictly adhere to all Solenis and mill safety protocols, actively participate in site-required training, and proactively identify and recommend safety improvements to foster a secure working environment for everyone.
  • • This role offers a unique blend of technical problem-solving and strategic account management, providing an excellent platform for professional growth within a globally recognized organization committed to innovation and sustainability.
