- • As a Large Loss Field Property Adjuster for Allstate, you will provide exceptional service to policyholders by conducting on-site inspections, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and efficiently, with a focus on large-scale fire and water losses in Oregon or Washington State.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include traveling to customers’ homes, handling virtual claims nationwide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration, and serving as a customer service expert, investigator, communicator, negotiator, problem solver, and recorder to ensure compassionate, accurate, and timely claim resolution.
- • You will join Allstate’s Claims team, a leader in innovation for over 90 years, dedicated to protecting families through advancements in safety, pricing, telematics, and identity protection, while upholding a culture of empathy, integrity, and customer empowerment.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in large loss property adjusting, master industry-standard estimating tools, strengthen negotiation and communication skills, and gain opportunities for career advancement through ongoing training and Allstate’s Total Rewards package supporting professional growth and work-life balance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Residency within the posted location (Oregon or Washington State) is mandatory
- • Must be able to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with up to a 6/12 pitch
- • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as part of job requirements
- • 4+ years’ previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired
- • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating
- • Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements
