đź“‹ Description
- • Join Skio Inc., a rapidly growing SaaS company on a mission to empower Shopify brands to achieve accelerated growth through a simple, powerful, and delightful subscription experience. Since our inception in 2021, we've achieved remarkable traction, scaling to $20M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) with a lean $8.4M in funding, and importantly, we are profitable. Our platform is trusted by hundreds of leading brands to manage and optimize their subscription businesses, and we are poised for even greater expansion.
- • As a Launch Engineer at Skio, you will be at the forefront of our customer success, playing a pivotal role in onboarding new merchants and ensuring their successful transition to and utilization of the Skio platform. Your primary responsibility will be to guide customers through their entire Skio journey, from initial setup to ongoing optimization, acting as their trusted technical advisor.
- • You will provide expert, best-practices support for custom-built solutions, delving into the intricacies of the Skio platform to resolve any technical challenges that may arise. Merchants will rely on your deep understanding and technical acumen to answer a wide spectrum of inquiries, ranging from fundamental technical questions to highly complex implementation scenarios that require creative problem-solving.
- • A significant and critical component of your role will involve the meticulous migration of customer and subscription data from various existing platforms to Skio. This process demands a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring data integrity and continuity. Your ability to manage these migrations will directly impact the merchant's experience and their ability to leverage Skio effectively from day one, ensuring a seamless and positive transition.
- • Beyond data migration, you will be instrumental in supporting customers with essential Shopify theme edits and storefront integrations. This involves ensuring that the Skio platform integrates flawlessly with the merchant's existing brand aesthetic and user experience, creating a cohesive and professional online presence. You will troubleshoot and implement solutions that guarantee Skio works seamlessly within their unique brand environment, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal.
- • Proactively identify and address potential technical roadblocks or challenges that merchants might encounter during their onboarding and ongoing use of Skio. This includes anticipating needs, offering preventative solutions, and staying ahead of issues before they impact the customer's business operations.
- • Collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback, identify recurring technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Skio platform. Your insights from the front lines of customer interaction will be invaluable in shaping the future of our product.
- • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practice guides to empower merchants and internal teams. This will involve translating complex technical information into clear, actionable content.
- • Participate in the continuous development and refinement of our onboarding processes and technical support methodologies to ensure efficiency and scalability as we grow.
- • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments within the e-commerce and subscription space, particularly concerning Shopify, to provide cutting-edge advice and solutions to our merchants.
- • You will be a key player in ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional technical support and strategic guidance, directly contributing to Skio's continued success and market leadership.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of Shopify merchants, from emerging brands to established enterprises, and to gain deep expertise in subscription commerce technology.
- • You will be empowered to take ownership of customer issues, driving them to resolution with a strong sense of accountability and a customer-centric mindset.
- • The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a clear communicator, and possesses a genuine passion for helping businesses succeed through technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience with Typescript and Javascript for backend or frontend development and integration.
- • Solid experience working with SQL-based databases, including querying and data manipulation.
- • Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, including command-line operations and system management.
- • Excellent English written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • A technical degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
- • Ideally, prior experience within the Shopify ecosystem and/or frontend development experience (e.g., HTML, CSS, Liquid).
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and equity package.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holidays.
