📋 Description

• Design and develop greenfield AI processes, agentic workflows, and scalable AI infrastructure to support Revvity’s Signals Research Platform
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams and mentor junior developers in AI system design and implementation
• Build large-scale, high-availability AI applications using Python, Java, and Go programming languages
• Collaborate on integrating AI capabilities across Revvity’s product portfolio to ensure seamless platform-wide functionality
• Partner with functional teams to identify high-leverage opportunities for AI-driven workflow transformation in scientific research and drug development
• Build custom AI tools, agents, and automations tailored to specific needs in Life Science R&D, clinical research, and specialty chemicals
• Coach teams through progressive AI adoption stages: awareness → first wins → full transformation → self-sufficiency
• Document, standardize, and scale successful AI patterns across the organization to enable enterprise-wide replication
• Maintain a bias toward action by demonstrating working prototypes over theoretical presentations
• Communicate complex AI concepts effectively to diverse audiences with varying technical backgrounds and learning styles
• Recognize and design scalable systems that transform manual or fragmented processes into automated, efficient workflows
• Fluently build and deploy AI agents and automations based on real-world use cases, not just theoretical models
• Apply hands-on expertise in AI/ML infrastructure and LLM application development to solve concrete scientific and operational challenges
• Ensure AI applications meet requirements for reliability, performance, and integration with existing SaaS platforms
• Drive organizational transformation toward becoming a high-performance, AI-first environment across R&D and clinical research domains

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5-10+ years of software engineering/architecture experience
• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML infrastructure and LLM application development
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and Java
• Proven experience with distributed frameworks (Dask, Spark, Ray) and AWS
• Demonstrated success in building AI tools that transformed real work processes
