📋 Description

• • Lead Brand Designer role at Monzo Bank Limited, responsible for shaping the company’s visual identity and driving innovative design solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading end-to-end design projects from ideation to execution, mentoring and guiding a small team of designers, acting as a brand guardian for external agency partners, developing and maintaining brand identities across touchpoints, contributing hands-on design work using Figma as a primary tool, applying expert typography knowledge, collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering), and providing art direction and motion concepts for in-app experiences.
• • Monzo’s Design Team consists of over 100 designers, researchers, and brand experts led by Chief Design Officer Vuokko Aro, united by a mission to make money work for everyone through inclusive, innovative, and customer-centric design.
• • In this role, you will develop leadership and mentoring skills, deepen expertise in brand evolution and typography, gain experience guiding external agencies and influencing product design, and contribute to high-impact campaigns and product experiences that reach millions of UK customers.
