- • As a Lead C# .NET Developer (Player Coach) at a fast-growing, mission-driven SaaS company, you will be instrumental in bringing a groundbreaking new product to market, leveraging a cutting-edge Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy. This is a unique opportunity to blend technical leadership with hands-on development, guiding a talented team while actively contributing to the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and user-centric software solutions. You will operate within a rapidly expanding market, collaborating directly with executive leadership to shape the technical future of a high-potential product and make a significant impact.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to lead, mentor, and coach a distributed engineering team of 8 developers, comprising both internal talent and outsourced resources. You will foster an environment of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver exceptional results. This leadership extends to setting technical standards, promoting best practices, and actively participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the platform.
- • Architect, design, and build robust, scalable SaaS applications using C# .NET. You will be responsible for ensuring these applications meet the highest standards of production-grade quality, performance, and reliability. This involves making critical architectural decisions, translating complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions, and overseeing the entire development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
- • Act as a hands-on contributor, demonstrating your expertise by writing and reviewing code. Your direct involvement in the codebase will not only accelerate development but also serve as a benchmark for the team, reinforcing the importance of clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest .NET technologies and best practices, integrating them into the team's workflow.
- • Drive and refine agile development practices across the team. This includes actively participating in sprint planning, conducting thorough code reviews, and championing continuous delivery (CD) principles. Your efforts will ensure that development cycles are efficient, feedback loops are tight, and the team can respond rapidly to evolving business needs and market opportunities.
- • Own and continuously improve the CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust pipelines that support reliable, automated, and efficient software releases. This includes monitoring pipeline performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements to streamline the deployment process and reduce time-to-market.
- • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other business stakeholders to deeply understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications. This cross-functional collaboration is crucial for ensuring that the software being developed aligns perfectly with user needs and strategic business objectives.
- • Represent the engineering function in critical cross-functional discussions with leadership. You will articulate technical strategies, present project updates, and provide insights that inform business decisions. In certain situations, you may also engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their technical challenges, bringing valuable real-world perspectives back to the development team.
- • Uphold and enforce high standards of code quality, application performance, security, and scalability across the entire platform. You will implement and monitor metrics to track these key areas, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact users or business operations.
- • Contribute significantly to shaping and executing the Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy through technical innovation and user-focused design decisions. This involves understanding how technical features can drive user adoption, engagement, and retention, and translating these insights into the product roadmap and development priorities.
- • Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the engineering team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development. You will empower your team members to grow their skills and take ownership of their work, creating a motivated and high-performing unit.
- • Ensure the technical infrastructure is robust, scalable, and cost-effective, aligning with the company's growth trajectory and business goals. This includes evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools to support the SaaS platform.
- • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent, helping to build and scale the team as the company grows.
- • Act as a technical evangelist, both internally and externally, promoting the company's technology and engineering culture.
